Ordering Your Stationery
Time Frame
We are often asked how long it will take to receive invitations. The time your invitations take to be approved and printed depends largely on how quickly you communicate your information to us. If you are prepared with your complete wording, any change of colour and font, the process will go quickly and should take no longer than four to five weeks.
Your Order
Use these simple steps to order your bespoke stationery:
1. Create your bespoke stationery
Select a design from our website and then personalise with the following options:
- Colour – a small design fee of £10 per colour is made
- Font – for examples see your guide to invitation etiquette
- Wording on the front of the card
- Wording on the inside of the card – for examples see your guide to invitation etiquette
2. Place your order
Once you've chosen your desing and personlisation, contact us. We will confirm your order and answer any questions that you may have. So you can prepare, these are the details we will need:
- Choice of invitation design including colour and font.
- Which items you would like to order (invitation, rsvp card, evening invite etc.)
- Quantity of each item
- The date you wish to receive your invitations (please allow at least four weeks)
- All of your contact information including telephone number, address and email
Alternatively email the order form with the above details or complete the order form on the website.
3. Our confirmation and the contract
Within one working day we will email to you:
- Our contract for you to sign and return
- A wording form for you to complete
- An invoice and payment form for you to send your deposit (A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order).
All of the above must be returned before the design phase commences.
4. Completing your wording
Please ensure that your wording form is complete and has been double checked for any errors in grammar, spelling and punctuation. The time you take at this stage to ensure it is correct will save time when the design is ready for proofing.
5. Your proof
Once you have sent us your completed wording form, contract and deposit, you will receive your design proof PDF sent via email within 5 working days. This proof will include all of your items.If at this stage you wish to see your designs in different fonts – a proof fee of £10 per item will be incurred. The sample proof is designed to check the content. Colours may vary slightly from the finished product. It is your responsibility to double check the spelling of places, names and other vital information on the stationery. If any edits are required beyond this point, a proof fee of £10 per item will be incurred
6. Your approval
When you are completely satisfied with your design we require your approval – please send an email confirming your approval to us.If a mistake occurs and you have approved the proof, then you are responsible for extra printing costs.
7. Printing and final payment
As soon as we have received approval from you to print, you will receive by email the final invoice, if there any amends to numbers these should be made at this time. As soon as payment has been made your stationery will be printed.
8. Finishing and presentation
If you have requested calligraphy services your stationery will take a further 10 business days to finish. All stationery is presented carefully wrapped in tissue paper in a personalised box for you to keep.
9. Delivery
Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your complete stationery once you have sent your approval. Stationery will be sent by overnight delivery and will require a signature on receipt.
